This is my inspiration wall. I am fascinated with natural textures like wood and grass, and also by handmade objects. I didn't used to use my own drawings as inspiration for myself, but now that I have begun to refine my drawing skills as well as my taste, I find that my own drawings really do express me and make me happy. Several of these are photos from my grandparents' National Geographic magazines from the 1970's, which I bring with me on every move. They have become wrinkled over time, but the nostalgic color schemes of these pieces never cease to energize me. Of course, my drawings are scattered about- guitar and hands, fruits and vegetables, and a couple other strange things- see if you can spot them! The rest are samples from paper companies, illustration magazines, and stuff I got at the flea market. Wherever I am living, I feel complete when I have my inspiration wall!
